Snacks First Business Card

This is my first business card ever created. The shape design was a pain to make on Illustrator but after I got the lines the way i wanted, the rest of the design was cake.

Project #3- Poster

For my poster project, I wanted to give a little History of a Genre of Music I favor over anything else which is Heavy Metal. Heavy Metal is a Genre of music which I feel shows bands which have interesting talent, not saying the groups before the 60's which they were based off of don't. I received some of my information online while the rest of the details I added from my overall knowledge of the Genre. The picture of AC/DC's Angus Young i got from online and happens to be one of my favorite guitarists, as well as the guitarist of one of my favorite bands. The text of words in the right side of the poster gives descriptions of what the Historic meat and bones of Heavy Metal are over the ears from Black Sabbath, to Slipknot, to Judas Priest. In my own perspective, I feel this poster flows pretty well, with the viewer having their eye catch the Title first, then going downward to the text guitar, then bouncing to the pic of Angus, and finally going to the informing text on the upper left, henceforth going somewhat in a circle.

Project #1 Essay

My topic for this project is obviously WAR. What I was aiming for to complete was a vision of what war depicts as the cause spreads. In this case, it's in the form of an explosion. War spirals downward onto the plains where the explosion spreads negative statements upward and about.
For the overall design, I really wanted to do my best with the rule of thirds. The main focal point of the artwork definitely has to be WAR at the very peak. The Second point is where War and the explosion start. The final point is the whole explosion spreading outward to all directions.
When it comes to the final outcome in my own opinion, I feel I could definitely make an improvement on the project. I think there could be some improvement where I could make something where it would loop the words back to WAR. This would make the photo more interesting because it would let the photo flow in motion.
